- CarpFishermanAnExplorerThanks everyone. We ordered the slinky-type sewer hose support from Amazon and it will be here Saturday. :)

DO NOT leave the grey water valve open. You'll need the grey water to flush the line after you dump the black tank.
My grey water tank fills daily... I just shut it the day before we leave an we're good to go :)
Yep I do the same:)

Not me...leave both closed all the time except when dumping. Don't want to take the chance of the sewer system backing up and into my motorhome. Or to have sewer flie up in my tank. Takes only a minute or two to go out and pull the lever. I'm normally out and about around the outside of the camper every day as it is. Just pull the lever and go walk around the camper and check to make sure everything is ok. By the time you make it around, it's probably finished dumping. - doxiemom11Explorer IIWe don't use one. We also do not leave our valves open. We keep them closed as we don't want sewer insects/bugs in our tanks as some people have had. They then were coming up drains into the rv. We experienced them working at a campground at the vault toilets - hard to get rid of.
- dcmac214ExplorerI'll give you mine next time we're camped side by side. Bought it when we got our 5er - was told it's a must-have item. Never used it. Never will.

- Ole_Man_DanExplorerPlastic gutter works. If your interested buy two sections and cut them so they can slide inside each other for adjustment.
You still need to support the gutter sections...
