Also, I would put a cap on it.
When I bought my S&B house, the previous owner apparently had a cleanout plug sticking up in the front yard they didn't like, and took a hacksaw and cut it off at ground level leaving a hole. There wasn't enough pipe left to attach a standard cap, so I went to my local plumbing supply house and he sold me a cap that is inserted INSIDE the pipe. That is where I pump my tanks out into with my Flojet.
