That is definitely very poor service and it shouldn't be like that.
However, that experience doesn't always happen, especially to full-timers. They rarely go back to the selling dealer. Full-timers travel. We had very little warranty work but never had it done at the selling dealer. Any Newmar dealer did it without question. We called and told them when we could arrive. They ordered parts, if necessary, and they were ready when we arrived. We'd spend a night on their lot, with electric, and were gone the next day. Maintenance was done as we traveled with no delays.
I don't understand how other dealers get away with this terrible service. Full-timers couldn't deal with long waits like that. It's their home.
