Dump the tanks doing black tank first, then grey tank. Grey tank water will do most of the "cleaning" of the hose. After dumping, I rinse out the sewer hose, usually with the hose that is attached to the dump station (the one with the sign that says "non-potable water").
If I used a grey water hose at the campsite (grey water only drains are common around me), I just rinse it with a regular hose. Most of the grey water should just be soapy water.
I slide the sewer hose into the square rear bumper of our TT. Been doing it for almost 14 years with no problems. There is a little rust in there, but very little. No smell that is noticeable with just the rinsing after dumping. Works great for me!
