I do as the others have said, but after I have rinsed the hose with the grey water, I rinse the hose with fresh water.
I then hold the hose vertically and compress the hose, starting at the top, forcing any water in the hose to drain out. I then store the hose in the rear bumper like storage tube.
I have not had any problem with rusting the hose storage tube, or with odors from the hose.
