don't know about Canada, but you don't see minivans towing full height TTs in the US. but i do see people towing rigs way beyond their tow vehicles capacity but i would never use them as justification to tow like that.:E
no matter what the weights are, the frontal area of a regular TT will exceed the maximum 40 sq ft that your minivan can tow.
only something like a Casita for a TT, would be within the minivan's specs, mainly because of its egg-shaped design cuts down the air resistance of the frontal area.
i think most here will not recommend a minivan towing a full height TT.
the only minivan truly capable for this, was the Astro/Safari minivan.
because it had the good things for towing that other minivans don't have.
ladder frame chassis, rear wheel drive with good towing rear end ratios and a big 4.3 v-6 engine.
it had a 5000lbs. towing capacity.
other minivans have smaller v-6's, unibody construction and front wheel drive, all negative factors for a good towing machine.
