Your caravan is 6050 GVW. Those vans are great for towing. Lots of power. I had a kia sedona that pulled an 16 ft jaco 3500 lbs fine..
The van actually bloxks the trailers frontage and reduces the wind issues.
Your van has a 1540 payload capacity. Its more if you weight the van and compare to your axle ratings.
Curb weight is about 4510 lbs. ( My kia sedona was identical.)
283 HP and 260 ft lbs of torque @ 4400 rpm.
1. do you have the 3rd seat in back? ( I removed mine when towing to save weight. Makes a difference)
2. Whats the hitch tag say?
3. Whats the max tire pressure say and what lbs?
4. No flex fuel when towing. ( dont know if you use that)
5. Do you have the load leveling suspension with the tow package?
6. On the door tag what does it say for front and rear axle weights?
