Shopping for first TT...not seeing used that much cheaper

I'm considering buying a small travel trailer to pull behind our Honda Ridgeline. I've never traveled by RV...ever in my almost 49 years. I've read often that for a first timer, it's best to buy used....

Stopped at two dealers today. Looked at Forest River's rPod (RP178), Palomini (179BHS), and Coachmen/Apex (18BH), plus KZ's Sportsmen Classic 200. After seeing them in person, I think the rpod and Palomini are out - my wife is claustrophic and wouldn't do well in such a small toilet/shower room. The Apex and KZ have larger bathrooms. I like the walk-around queen bed and larger fridge/freezer on the KZ. I do like the exterior style of the rpod and Palomini, but that's a minor issue.
