I have taught many people how to drive emergency vehicles in my days as an EMT, & I thing this would help you tremendously. Take your rig to a local school parking lot on a weekend, & practice the maneuvers that you think you need to brush up on. Use brightly colored plastic glasses filled with a bit of water to keep them in one place. In short, practice, practice, practice.
