Gee, I hope so. My reason for thinking that? My daughter has been full timing alone for over a year now and last I looked, she was very sane.

No, I don't think it's crazy at all.

I don't think it would be crazy for me (a single guy) to do the same sort of trip, provided employment and financial and other mundane details cooperated, and I don't see any reason why it should be different for a woman rather than a man. There certainly are some neighborhoods where one would not want to be, whether man or woman, armed or unarmed; but the best solution is to avoid those neighborhoods if possible and basically just exercise a bit of common sense.

This time of year, I think it not the least bit crazy to prefer to be someplace more southern than New York!

follow your gut. if you feel un-easy. keep going.

look at buildings. if run-down.. keep going.

I have met a few . single Rv Ladies. traveling along.

keep in contact with family.. on a set day and time. if possible.

I've been RVing solo, not full time but lots of time, since 1991. My firm belief is that your best weapon is your brain. Be alert to signs of possible trouble and either do not enter or leave before things get bad. I don't think that safety is a gender issue. Be sensible, be cautious, keep your rig in good repair so it doesn't let you down, and get out there and follow your dream!

Solo women Rver's are pretty common these days. If your rigs large enough consider buying a friendly dog - good companion/protector and easy way to meet fellow campers.

Well i don't think necessarily you should be packing, however I think you need some sort of fall back protection like,pepper spray, bear spry, a kiddie ball bat - something.

Personally my camper is never void of the old locked and loaded hawg leg.

Not at all a crazy idea. Go for it. I travel solo, tow fifthwheel. CWP.
Probably about 3 times your age.....?

Be cautious, not paranoid, stop long before dark for the night. Choose your surroundings carefully.
