If you spend all your time trying to figure out what other people are doing in the campground and why, you need to quit this lifestyle and start staying in hotels/motels. You won't even see anyone else.
Just in case you find yourself parked next to me, here's my story. I'm a single RVer. I'm parked in my 'C' where I'm parked because its close to what I came to the area to see or I'm overnighting on the way. I'm usually in a KOA, because I want FHUs, with cable and WIFI. Laundromat is a bonus. Its OK with me if they have a pool, playground equipment or a dog walking area, even though I don't use them. I'm not disturbed by kids running around. That's what they do. But I normally ask for a spot away from the "family camping" spots so they can give them to families.
In over 10 years, I've had to ask four kids not to use my assigned picnic table just once. And that was because I wanted to sit there to drink my morning coffee and read the morning newspaper.
