I guess we would have fallen into the odd campers over Fathers day weekend,, We had just recently lost our 12 year old camping buddy,, A large Lab/Mastiff named Snickers! He has camped with us through the thick and thin,, Our three girls grew up with him,, We used to have the "busy" camp site! So as a tribute to "Snickers" we went camping in his honor,, left on Tuesday and came home Saturday before Fathersday,,By Friday night the park started filling up,, we sat there and took it all in!! remembering the times with our dog and our girls,,I am sure to everyone else in a hustle to get set up and settle in we must have looked odd,,enjoying a cool drink sitting there just watching!!
We also camped with him at the beach allot,, so next month again we will be the odd campers,, enjoying each others company and remembering our dear friend!! Even with your kids running and screaming around,, we will be just sitting there enjoying our time together,, Because in reality,, that time to will be short,, So odd?? Yeah maybe,,but don't cast judgment if they don't fit your mold,,You to my friend will be the odd ones out some day!!
