We are in our early 40's. Teenager have the choice to come with us or not. Most time they don't. Camping for us is a get away. We only go to state parks. Screaming kids can be tuned out. Heck, my grandmother just turn off her hearing aid when we got to loud as kids. I for one don't pay much attention to the kids playing unless the blood-curling scream from a injury is let out. Campfires are enjoyed more in the daylight hours. One at night just burns to long when you are dead tired from working all week long and use to getting up at 4:30am. Drag my bike out for a ride? HAHAHA I'm here to enjoy myself not get a workout. My Siberian Husky who walks a mile every night doesn't even bug to go for a walk. He enjoys the lazy change of pace also. We only talk to our neighbors long enough to say hi and where are you from. They are here to enjoy themselves too and not become our best friends. We pretty much stick to ourselves. We have also found out the tidier the site is the easier it is to tear down. Have the time I don't even bother dragging the tablecloth out.
