Alright, OP here... man oh man, ain't I just the little troll!
Oh well, look in between all the flaming, I get it. Camping people are as fiercely loyal to their strange habits as like the Disney crazies. Meaning that while we all enjoy camping or going to Disney, when you see those who take it to the next level, it seems odd.
Look, all I am saying is... here we are on a beautiful June weekend. We're in a state park and there must be 300 or more people with kids running around everywhere. It's loud, there's smoke everywhere and people and constantly moving around running trucks up and down these tiny drives. To me, it's about as relaxing as a construction site.
I choose to be there because we have these kids and they didn't want to just around the house. I take them to the campground, they have new things and new kids to play with and I get some peace.
BUT, had I no kids to care for and the money these 2 couples had invested in their trailers and trucks?
THE LAST PLACE on earth you'd find me is in the middle of this mess!
I'd find a way to use my capital better. I'd find a way to own land where I and my loved ones could be less bothered by the constant drone of other people.
These couples weren't interacting. Not that they weren't nice folks, but I never saw them with others in the campground. They were just there, just hanging out, passing the time.
If I had their money and time, I'd spend it in any other way than there.
That's all I am saying.
It is clear by your second post that you STILL don't get it.
These people are not you. They are not strange. Their behavior is perfectly normal, just not the same as yours.
I believe there is a very nice campground in Stepford that has people that think and act exactly like you.
