Thats great that you take the kids camping and get them initiated to the camping idea. But you being the parent/adult must also show respect to the others around you and KEEP the kids under control and teach the kids to show respect to the other campers, and that everyone has a space that they would like to retain as theres while there. Now whether or not you teach them these principles is up to you but don't condemn the campers that keep to them selves, ME included. I just like to get away and socialize if I feel like it, OR just sit and enjoy-just sitting- and watching the newbie or expert (want-to- be) park his rig, class C motor home or the 5ver owner that can't get his left to work any better than his right. If you know what I mean. And if you build that SMOKY fire and it bothers others PUT IT OUT. I don't appreciate your fire/smoke drifting my way and filling my rig, letting it die down when you go to bed and not putting it out DEAD as one should when done. That is being a good camper and neighbor in my opinion. I have raised my family, I don't want to teach yours.
