yep, me too. i'm a native Northern Californian and have spent a lot of time driving from San Diego to the Washington/Oregon border.
lived in So Cal for 30 years and drove 101 and Highway 1 many times.
many get the two highways mixed up and aren't aware of how Highway 1 splits off and rejoins Highway 101 nearly all the way up the California coast.
