Well, I have only been around for a little over 70 years, and I disagree!
I know a couple who camp in an older cargo van. No, not a "party van" a CARGO van! They sleep in the van, and set up their camp kitchen outside to cook. They are nice people.
I know another guy who looks like someone you would cross the street to avoid. He is actually a "character actor" on tv, and a great guy.
Both of the above are members of our local Amateur Radio club.
On the other hand, I once lived across the street from a mother and daughter who had a nice little camp trailer. The trailer looked good, but the people were stereotypical "poor white trash".
I met a woman in VA a few years ago, who lived in a very nice mobile home in a nice park. I was nearly afraid of that woman! She was simply AWFUL in every way you can imagine!
No, you can NOT tell a book by its cover! the most intolerant people I have ever met were those who preached "tolerance" the loudest!
