i now live on an island in Washington and i have NO clue what you're worry is about salt water here.
Road rock salt is a way worse issue that ocean salt water.
maybe East Coast is a worry for salt water but seldom on the West Coast. unless you live on the beach.
Thank you for the report. I have no clues of West Coast units, especially Northwest. One LD is garaged in Oregon (Brookings) the other in Washington State.
