Tips, tricks, do's and dont's ....
So we were supposed to get our RV tomorrow, but because of a money fiasco, we won't be picking it up until Friday. :S Anyhoo .... I would love it if everybody could share their tips, tricks, do's ...

Everything that is needed for the trailer stays in the trailer. Cooking and cleaning supplies, towels and bedding, dishes, anything that is used or is to be used while in the RV stays in the RV. This way it is never forgotten.
The only thing that doesn't stay in my trailer during storage is perishable food.
This is a very good idea, but:
1) if storing for the winter, remove canned goods--they will freeze. It's also a good way to make sure you use items before they get too old.
2) After any trip, sweep & mop the floor, thoroughly wipe down counters & cabinets. Make sure any dry goods are THOROUGHLY sealed up, or take them out. You don't want to leave any mouse attractants.
3) When the fridge is not turned on, prop the door open so it doesn't mildew. ALL fridges will do this even if you clean them.
