1. have a check list for hooking up and unhooking. So easy to forget to unhook the power cord. Always do the hook up and unhook in the same order.
2. large plastic hooks (vacuum) from Walmart can be used in the shower to hang towels and wash cloths.
3. Before you pull into a campsite, get out and walk it.
4. We use command hooks to hang the camera near the front door so we don't miss photos ops.
5. Storage items from the dollar store to organize.
6. Less is more. Watch what you load in. You won't need nearly as much as you think. Clothes, food, etc. Remember weight when you buy anything.
7. Store all food not refrigerated in plastic bags or bins. Helps keep bugs and critters away.
8. Get some folding mesh laundry hampers (we have 2).
9. We use paper plates (not Styrofoam) and paper bowls to reduce dishwashing.
10. Buy food that is microwavable, grillable or crock potable.
11. When dumping the tanks make sure the hose is securely connected. (don't ask us how we know that!!)
12. Always arrive at the stopping place before dark.
13. For the grey tank, we use 1 cup Dawn Platinum dish detergent and 1 cup Borax.
14. Be patient with yourself. You will learn along the way. Be flexible. Enjoy!!
