I store my trailer away from my home so to make sure my towels, sheets, wash clothes and anything else taken out of the trailer makes it back into the trailer I put the items in a tote when they come out of the wash. I use this same tote to pack stuff to and from the trailer when loading and unloading. The tote is also a good place to store purchased items for the trailer until I pull it back home to get it ready for the next trip.
I use a cloth laundry bag (http://www.amazon.com/Household-Essentials-Hanging-Cotton-Laundry/dp/B00013KABK/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1412821153&sr=8-7&keywords=cloth+laundry+bag) that has a metal rim with hook in the RV. I toss dirty laundry into it and when I get home, dump the entire contents AND the bag (unzip and remove the metal first) into the washing machine. When dry, I fold everything and put back into the clean bag, re-insert the metal rim, and take it all back out to the RV and put things away.
It makes laundry a very simple process.
