So we were supposed to get our RV tomorrow, but because of a money fiasco, we won't be picking it up until Friday. :S Anyhoo .... I would love it if everybody could share their tips, tricks, do's ...

I have the SuperGlide Automatic Slider Hitch and am very glat that I spent the extra money for it. You don't have to even think about it, it just does it's thing all the time. Plus on those rainy days, you do not have to get wet to play with the hitch.
