I try to have the front of my TT pointed from south west to north We have big windows on the back and curb side. I’ve found that those really heat up the rig. Having back pointed at the rising sun is acceptable and the dining windows get a northern view.
Since we are based in Texas, we try to avoid sunset views from inside. Direct sunlight can heat the inside of the rig to the high 80s with an outside temp in the 40s.
Having the main sunlight of the day directly on the road side kitchen in a Texas summer heats up the internal fridge/ freezer temps by 5 to 7 degrees.
If there are fantastic views, we can best see those from outside.
