Trying to form a consensus

I know there are a lot of variables such as trees, mountains, lakes and streams and time of year or any other obstructions but if it was on flat ground with none of these or if you were at a campground and had your choice of spots which direction would you choose and why.

I know that it may be a mundane question but it is a beautiful day out and I can’t go camping,food for thought for when I can.I have my own preference but I would like to hear form others on the Forum.
