two Honda eu2000 not starting A/C
My wife and I are new to Camping. about a month ago we bought a 2010 Jayco eagle superlite 30.5 DBSA. We bought a two Honda eu2000 (4000 watt combined)with the link to run our camper when no electricity available.
Now I read that when first starting the a/c I need to kick the eco throttle off of generators. however once a/c is running, I kick it back down to eco and everything works great until the camper cools down and the a/c switches off.
My problem is that the generator will not kick up to start the generator. in fact, for a second, it kills all the electricity in the camper. So in the middle of the night, I'm climbing out of the camper to shut off the eco throttle so the a/c is able to kick back on.
both of my camping buddies have eu3000 and they have no issues with generator keeping up with a/c (same size unit as mine) in eco throttle mode.
am I doing something wrong? any help would be greatly appreciated.
