Using tire air inflation charts vs side wall markings

If the manufacturer of your tires publish inflation tables, I don't see how it would EVER be appropriate to inflate to maximum... unless your weight dictates per the inflation table. And, if that's the case, I'd be looking at a heavier duty tires so that I could be somewhere in the middle of the inflation table. In my opinion, nothing should ever be maxed out. Trouble waiting to happen.
