Westlake Tire Weight/Inflation charts Help

Our new to us 2003 Newmar Mountain Aire came to us with a almost new set of Westlake CR976A tires. Size is 255/70 R22.5. Only have about 2,000 miles and only about year and a half old. I am settting up our home and have it loaded for our upcoming travels and getting ready to weigh it on all four corners for air pressure settings. Now I found a problem. I have scoured the internet and cant find a chart for this tire anywhere for weight and tire pressures. I have looked for hours. I found goodyear, Michelin etc and others but nothing on Westlake. Can anyone help me. Can I use the weight chart of other manufacturers if the size, rating are the same? I am unsure and don't want a mistake with this. Thanks in advance. Learned so much on the forums.
  • Awesome help guys. Got my weights today and made a couple of item moves to redistribute some weight. Weight was overall pretty close side to side. I took highest weight on front then rounded up to next 100 pounds. I added an extra couple hundred pounds to front and to rear each. I also rounded up rear to next 100 pounds. Front came out needing 70 pounds and read needing 75 pounds. I figures to add extra to each and use 85 pounds on all tires. I had all tanks full including grey and black water and white water. all propane and gas tanks full. I also had it packed with items for travel. This should be the heaviest I use it almost all the time. I was over the maximum weight for loaded unit by 10 that's ten pounds. And I added several hundred pounds as a buffer. When towing my car I am under weight by 1,200 pounds. Does this sound about right for the weight load. First time setting all this up. Weighting at CAT scales was a breeze. Weighted entire rig. Then pulled off got ticket and pulled back on and straddled the scale and weighted one side to get individual tires. Worked like a champ. Thanks for all your help. Hope I did all this right.
  • I found this chart on your tire's specifications:
    westlaketire table

For your 255/70 size, the max load and max pressure exactly match what is in the chart for my Sumatomo st727 tires.

If you google Sumatomo st727 load inflation table
you will find a link titled TRUCK TIRES - Sumitomo Tire.

This link will let you download a 24 page document on Sumatomo tires, with load inflation table on page 19.

    I hope this helps.

Any chart should do and as long as to stick to the same rating....G, H...etc. You shouldn't be too critical anyway and if you weigh each axle, go by that and if you then add 10 - 15psi for all the variables, you should be good to go. Works for me and have been doing just that for years now.
