Using tire air inflation charts vs side wall markings

I air up to "max inflation" rating on tire sidewall, which is 80 psi. Two years and about 15,000 miles later I've had fridge shelve bounce out, drawers slide out etc. Pretty stiff ride and rear ki...

I think you have a TT as you didn't specify. Max is exactly that, Max. The best way - and any tire manufacturer will tell you this - is to weigh your RV and adjust PSI (cold) based on the charts from your manufacturer. If you do it to max, your tires heat up, gain Psi which will now exceed max psi. My tires increase psi anywhere from 10-20 psi while travelling (based on my TPMS).
