Decided to go with the Git-Rot because a marina close by carries it, got 2 pints and will try it out tomorrow morning.
Two asides:
1. I re-plumbed the fresh water tank so that I can now isolate the water pump and fill the tank when connected to city water, kept the gravity feed. Also redirected the overfill to go out the fresh water tank drain under the coach instead of the side.
2. I fabricated two steel plates with machine nuts welded underneath to mount the convertible couch to. Planning to attach them to the flooring with screws and construction glue. I think it will be a little stronger than original.
