I use one for the truck that is about 28" x 10" x 3" in size and slips under the rear seat. I have a second one that is about 15" x 7" x 7" that goes into a storage compartment.
Best to select the tools first and then you will know how large a box to get. I take a pall peen hammer and a hacksaw and full size channel lock pliers and need a box that is long enough for them to fit.
