hi there. im also a jeep nut, (tj, wj and kj). My libby is rated for 5000 lb but doing so would be suicide with the whippy nature and super short wheel base. If I were you I would look for a small popup (which when open is actually quite large. I used them for years and loved it. Only went to my older prowler 19E this year to keep the wife and toddler happy and my WJ pulls it fine. Not sure your plans but a WJ will handle a small travel trailer with ease and is still a real jeep (actually the last jeep available from the factory with solid front and rear axle with lockers and a V8) you can easily get one with a camper used in your 12k budget and still have plenty of room to shop around. also lets you have another fun jeep!!!!
