Do some research on this forum on voltage and surge protection. Lots of opinions but I wouldn't be without one after having had electrical damage. Typically dealers offer a discount at time of purchase on accessories but check out prices at CW, Amazon, and Walmart to know in advance if it's truly a good price.
X2 on the surge protector advice. I would never plug in without having one of these units. They're pretty steep, but a necessity. Look to spend at least $100.00 and buy a Progressive Industries brand. They offer a lifetime warranty!

X3. I have the 30 amp from progressive definitely worth the $280. Worst part the only time I had a problem was when I used it at my house. Previous owner switched polarity on generator plug in which I use for the rv as well the generator. Good water pressure regulator which is $50. Truthfully you will spend about $500 in extras not including hitch and brake controller if you don't have them already.
