Where to park for a month in MS

I'm thinking of finding a perm place to leave the new rig with a local address. Then I can use the RV daily and for periodic domestic travels and maintain that same address as a head quarters until further notice. Can anyone suggest a spot near the beach in MS? I'm not sure if I should pay to rent someone's private property, buy my own land with hookups,or try again to find a non seedy park? I really want to be plugged in at nite so I don't really know if boondocking could feel secure enough but I'm willing to try that to on while on the road? Thank you for reading...I'm so excited to start this new venture!

  • It seems you want to use the campground address as your permanent address.

First check if that address will allow you to purchase your medical insurance and at what cost.

Then check with the DMV to see if that address would qualify.

Then check with the campground to see if they would allow you getting your mail there.

Buccaneer SP in Waveland is quite reasonable and is a nice spot. It was the only place we stayed for 2 weeks on last winter's trip around the southeast.

    X2

They have monthly rates during the winter. I've been spending part of each winter there for several years.

UPS and FedEx deliver to sites and they'll hold mail for you in the office. They won't sign for anything though.

  • There are many campgrounds along the MS coast and they have monthly rates. Do a search in cities along the coast Biloxi, Gulfport, Pass Christian, Long Beach, Waveland etc.
