Which camp pie makers are durable and do a good job?

I was going to order a couple of cast iron camp pie makers from amazon but then I read the customer reviews about the handles coming loose, the bread not being crimped, things leaking out. etc and decided I better get some tips from the experts - YOU !!!!

What brand of camp pie makers is a good one?

What should I look for?

Where should I buy them?

Appreciate your feedback on this very important purchase!!!!

    Rome Cast iron

    They last forever, easy to clean. Make sure you season them 3-4 times

    We have had good luck with Rome.
    Do not buy the aluminum ones, they warp quickly. Cast iron is the best.
    We found the double ones to be too heavy to hold over the coals for any length of time.

    We Bought ours at Rural King . I think they do pretty well, the handles are better than the ones you see at Walmart and the Pie square is cast iron. They are called.. Country Trails Non-Stick Square Pie Iron/Sandwich Cooker
