That could be a safety issue. If you are not there to know if there is a hazard of you firing up the furnace or not. In my experience, it does not take a long time for a furnace to warm up an RV, especially one that runs on LP. I would just rather spend the money to buy another LP heater like a Mr Heater to assist the main furnace to knock down the chill.
