Winnebago Via

My RV dealer is telling me that I have to have my 2011 Via serviced at a Mercedes dealer for chassis work. Is there any truth to this, or was he just telling me this because he didn't know what else to say. We've always had non-Mercedes motorhomes served at a local truck service shop who does lots of RVs and with whom we've never had a problem in 30 years.

    Since your MH has a Mercedes chassis and it is covered under a separate warranty(which I don't see) does seem logical. Have you tried locating and reading that part of yr warranty?

    Freightliner service centers should also be able to do the work. The Sprinter bare chassis is sold also for commercial uses like step vans, Freightliner branding.

    Only use certified MBA or Fraghtliner service centers,as any other May not be able to read the acu codes or even have the correct tools to work on the Sprinter. There are very few independent shops around that can work on sprinters.
