Didn't get it for a hose reel, don't have, need, or want one.

Blackwater tank flusher hookup is female.

Same for the freshwater connection.

Don't have, never had, a wastewater tote.

The water filter we use has male-female connections, ensuring correct flow direction.

Washer hookup that short and female-female? Never saw one. Home washer hoses both male-female.

I guess I'll throw it out. Sure thing that within an hour after they empty the dumpster I'll have a critical need for it!

I second the suggestion that it's for a threaded sewer cap to a blue tote.

Buy another with a male connection at each end. Connect each end of the male to each end of the female. Now get a stake a pound it into the ground and you have a nice ring toss game.

washing machines use that style. my cheap pressure washer requires it. and my tote has a male connector as well as the sewer cap on the MH.

Do you use the HelMart blue water filters? Those have male threads on both ends forcing you to use a double female to connect it to the hose bibb.

Standard washer hose (For a washing machine) Home units are usually 3 feet long but for an RV.. may have also used it with a filter (home made) or ( use one on a waste line as well.
