There is an older version of the Sewer Pig called as I recall a Hose Buddy. it's a "Block" holds one gallon of water (Same as the piggie) I kind of like the pig, but I have the "Block"

Some folks use a "Sand sock"
To make one take an old pair of trousers and cut off a leg (no holes in that leg please) and sew one end closed or a long tube sock. Then fill with sand (8-10 pounds) and sew the other end closed. (Hem it) Instant sand sock.
I am currently using a campground provided rock.
