05 Honda Pilot baseplate install

Question

I need some advice. Ordered a Blue Ox baseplate for our 05 Pilot. Install instructions say some drilling is needed in frame rails to accept all the mounting hardware. Has anyone done a Pilot install? Is there clearance for a drill around the frame? Any other tricky parts of this? I have all the clips to put the bumper/splash panels back on.

If Blue Ox still uses 3/8" bolts drill them out to 1/2" &amp; get some 1/2" grade 8 bolts. This will save you trouble later. The voice of experianse $375.00 worth!!!!!!
