that's precisely what my buddy did when his 3-kids were young. they'd check-in at a park or CG in the morning and Jerry would sleep. his wife would take the kids to the pool or otherwise keep them occupied. they'd check out in the early evening and drive all night and repeat that cycle as needed. but it's still a long haul even if you solut the driving duties. do your 16-days include the weekends or do you have 16-working days plus your weekends? me? i'd save up additional vac time, cut the time at yellowstone, fly/motel it or pick someplace closer.
