I fell asleep last night thinking about this and to be honest I cant stand to be with myself in the truck for 12 hrs let alone the kids.
BUT..everyone is different. It may work for you and your family. Depends on the type of person you are and your level of patience. The level of patience and the attention span of the children. Fortunately?? our children today have technology to keep them occupied. They have TVs that hang on the rear of the front seats..Ipods..Iphones and WIFI right in the car...growing up I didn't even have a TV in the house until I was ten.
If you were even contemplating this then you have a level of confidence in you that your family will survive. I think all of us are different and the idea of me doing it ends for me in about 1.2 seconds flat.
If you feel you have the right kids and the level of patience required I say go for it and keep a video log so you can come back and share it...could be super sweet or more like a National Lampoons video. Either way your family will never forget it and that's what its all about anyway.
