Yes, my engine is the new-style Silverado truck motor, rated at 285 horsepower and 305 ft pds of torque.

Nice, good luck. Yes, please post back once you get some towing miles under your belt. Id be interested to hear your opinion on how the 4.3 tows.
Before i bought my 15 Silverado, i did test drive a V6 truck and while not as stout as the 5.3, it did have plenty of power i thought.
