2015 Ford Edge

Does anyone know if the 2015 Ford Edge can be toed 4 down. I looked in the 2015 Dinghy Towing guide and there is nothing on them, can toe up to 2014. Did they do the same dumb thing as Honda with there 2015 CRV models. May have to go with a 2014.

  • I find it interesting that the manual says to disconnect the black battery cable. I did not know that was required. We are looking to replace our Fusion with an Edge. I know you should follow the manual but I am curious to know if everyone is actually disconnecting the battery or using a charge wire to keep the battery charged. Any help would be appreciated.
  • Thanks everyone for the help. I'm looking at 2014 and my daughter is thinking of a 2015 that is the main reason for asking. The manual is a lot of help.
Here is where I went to look for the answer.

DW has the 2015 Edge EB and it is NOT 4 down towable.
There are other models with a different transmission that are.

FWIW: She has the large sun roof and it leaks. It has been in the shop twice for this. We are waiting for tomorrows rain storm to determine if it's finally properly repaired.

    Best information above.
FMCA towing guide list that 2015 V-6 is towable. But not ECO-Boost.
