I am amazed at posters who are ready to buy a new toad but have not done the research. Use the search function in this forum and sometimes you get the answers. The new 9 speed Chrysler transmission appears to have some major problems. That is the reason some are suggesting the extended warranty. Personally I would not buy a vehicle where I have to buy that warranty due to a malfunctioning tranny. What a shame that the Jeep line is quickly becoming not towable. Probably the most popular and reliable toad!
