2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

I recently got a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited to be used as my Toad. Reading the owner's manual isn't very clear on the proper position to leave the key in the ignition. I know I can't leave it locked and I am thinking accessory may be the answer. Does anyone here tow a 2015 ? What position do you leave the key in the ignition? Also, the manual doesn't mention pulling fuses as I had to do in my 2009. If you are towing a 2015, what is your experience?
  • 2008.5 it changed. No longer need the key. Set it up, pull the key, lock the doors and walk away.

    Good luck.
  • The main reason for leaving the key in is to unlock the steering column, but they did away with that on Jeep Wranglers years ago. Did they put that back in for 2015? My 2011 doesn't have it. I two the Jeep without a key but I disconnect the battery because I run the tail and brake lights on the Jeep back to the RV.
  • I have read the owners manual and it doesn't mention fuses nor does it specifically say the key position. My 2009 required the fuses to be pull so I wanted to make sure that was no longer the case in 2015.
  • You need to download the 689 page owners manual on the Jeep web site

On page 549 it tells you what to do.

    No need to pull fuses.
