If you check my profile you'll see that I have a similar truck and a smaller trailer. My truck is lighter because it is a reg. cab and only 2 wheel drive. I also have air bags which was needed when I had a Truck Camper. I have no WDH an no anti-sway mechanism. I to have boats and equipment trailers, and there are few similarities. Pulling a TT with it's large wall areas change the pull.
With all that said, my experience towing is just ok! I get some sway when passed be trucks or buses. Power is just ok but I have not gone up & down any eastern mountains (I know you guys west of the Miss. say there are no mountains here in the east). 'E' tires will be a must, 'P' sidewalls are just to soft, I also up graded shocks. I get 11 to 12 mpg.
IMO try it with short trips before you spend money on your current TV, but you will want a larger TV.
