So just how was the shower left on? Alcohol involved?
Well... there is always alcohol involved but that's not the reason for the shower being left on.
My 78-year-old father came with us.
He shut the top shower head off and pushed the button down on the tub faucet.
Seeing water come out of the lower faucet he had thought the hose was simply draining out for a moment and ignored it. Not realizing the faucet was actually running.
He has 85% hearing loss and failed to hear the water continue to run and didn't look back to check it.
Wife & I were in the front bedroom laying down, DD was in her bunk, and grandpa crawled into the dinette bed and fell asleep.
