Open space (anywhere) is a prime commodity - worth *MUCH* more for other -way more profitable- uses.
Take your wildest guess at what the other RV storage facilities are charging now for the same thing - and add about $50-$100.
(That is if you can find one with space/s available - most have waiting lists)
So - you head for storage in adjoining counties - outside the L.A. / ORCO metro areas.
