48 inch wide rolls of Eternabond tape?
Apparently there are such things as 48 inch by 50 feet wide Eternabond rolls. This gets me wondering... for a rig that is 100 inches in width, would three overlapped layers of this ensure the roof ...

In theory Communism is pretty good too! I like where your head is at, but I cannot imagine it would be very easy to do. You would need to literally strip off everything that projects off your roof (AC, vents, skylights, antenna, etc) in order to roll out the Eternabond. That kinda defeats the purpose, because once you put those things back on, now you have to re-tape those joints.
