The op has concerns and by the wording of his post others in this park have concerns as well… I am assuming this is an older park where some have been located for some time…
The way some parks have operated and the way many of the lease/rental contracts are worded they have maybe good reason to worry, or not… many of these seasonals are not easily moved especially after being there a few years and the allowance of Florida room additions…
The laws and the rules do not always align, they need to apply the law to their unique situations…
of course the proper time to have done that was before moving in…
Your accretion that these CG owners invest big bucks for good quality lawyers to draft well-tailored contracts is something I haven’t seen in any of the FL parks I have looked into… and if they are it might be some of the big corporate owners buying out the older parks that do pay thousands to have contracts written… make wholesale changes outside the existing simple contracts to drive out those already there… Morgan might be a good example of that…
